Robert Allen apricot chenille with hand applied designer trimmings plus a textured folk art quilted panel come together creating a custom fuschia and melon Folk Art pillow work of art!!

Folk Art is so Americana and yet it is difficult to locate pieces sophisticated in the styling. I fell in love with the hand painted colors and unique pattern in this antique table runner which was the inspiration for this Folk Art pillow design. To add more dimensions to the antique runner, fuchsia tangerine and gold beads were hand applied in various locations. The opposite side of the pillow also mimics the front primary design colors with rick rack in fuchsia and white. Beading was hand applied on the rick rack to give design dimension and compliment the front.

Eclectic, traditional or a room with a cottage feel would welcome Folk Art Fantastic as an accessory. Warm colors in neutrals, soft apricots, soft greens or gray blues would create an inviting look. Distressed oak pieces, metals, overstuffed chairs or sofa would make a good combination.  Go ahead, be creative. Let your imagination run wild. Remember love is in the details.
